Description: Farro Pelato is a wheat grain, actually a kernel that resembles barley produced in the heart of Umbria, a pleasantly chewy with a distinct sweet wheat taste. 

It's a cereal with an abundance of vitamins and minerals, and a higher quantity of proteins than other cereals, but lacking in fats. 

Ingredients: Spelt


Our Recommendation: An ideal alternative of pasta. Perfect to be used as a Risotto or in salads. Dress it with tomato sauce and your favourite cheese or as cold dish with corn, olives and sun-dried tomatoes,

Cooking Instructions:  

Pour it in a pan of cold salted water and bring it to boil

Step 2Cover and simmer over low heat until tender for approximately 20 minutes.

Step 3: Drain it and dress it at you preference
