Description:  Italian Dried Borlotti Beans - these exceptionally high quality borlotti are grown by the Bartolini family, artisan producers, who have been farming in Umbria for six generations. 

Borlotti are widely used in Italian cooking. Light brown in colour with dark red streaks, Borlotti have a wonderful smooth, creamy texture and sweet taste.

Our Recommendation: Frequently used in the Italian cuisine adding it to pasta, salads and soups. Try as a substitute for chickpeas when making houmous and match it with mussels for authentic Apulian recipes

Cooking Instructions:  

Step 2Pour it in a pan of cold salted water and bring it to boil

Step 3: Cover and simmer over low heat until tender for approximately 20 minutes.
